Andy Warhol once proclaimed, “I have a social disease. I have to go out every night.”
The nightlife at the Toronto International Film Festival infects Warhol’s affliction with a celebratory tone and provides a severe case of FOMO to anyone it comes in contact with.
To help you sort out which celeb soirées are worth trying to sneak into we’ve compiled a TIFF party guide, just don’t blame us if you get socially ill.
Most exclusive guestlist: Grey Goose Soho House

Even Woody Harrelson got excited about Jennifer Lawrence at Grey Goose party at the Soho House Toronto in 2012.
For TIFF, even members of this notorious and notoriously exclusive Soho House don’t get full access as Grey Goose has quarantined two full floors for the bolder of names. And when the official parties end, the real fun begins as Soho becomes the de-facto destination for any celeb who wants to stay out past their 11 p.m. curfew.

Who to look out for: Scarlett Johansson, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Amy Poehler and Daniel Radcliffe all have movie parties here, but really anyone and everyone whose in town will likely swing by.
Most reliable celebrity hotspot: AMC Storys/Patria/F-Stop

Julianne Moore, Alison Mosshart of The Kills and Alexander Skarsgard meet up at the What Maisie Knew party thrown at the Virgin Mobile Arts & Cinema Centre at AMC Storys.
A parade of big names and big movies are destined to come through the doors of the Storys building, providing an exclusive, small and welcoming environment for a plethora of big stars and other industry insiders. A joint enterprise between ICON Legacy Hospitality, INK Entertainment and Los Angeles-based A-List Communications, the multi-level building will turn into a swank V.I.P. lounge at night in the hopes of rivalling its round the corner competition, the Soho House. Narrative, the PR company behind stories, are also planning to throw some parties at Patria and F-Stop — a short walking distance away.
Who to look out for: George Clooney, Clive Owen, Mila Kunis, Adam Levine, Mark Ruffalo, Kiera Knightley and Keanu Reaves are all scheduled to walk the street side red carpet.
Best new concept venue: Live at the Hive
SodaStream is betting big at TIFF this year, sponsoring a space above plush celebrity-owned ping pong hub SPiN dubbed Live at the Hive to host some of the festival’s most exclusive bashes.
Who to look out for: Mila Kunis, Olivia Wilde, James Franco, Liam Neeson, Nicholas Cage, Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman are all expected.
Best late night debauchery: Bovine Sex Club
Long known as the go-to late night hangout for the more adventurous rock stars (and wannabe rock stars) passing through town, there is no better place to truly embrace TIFF’s 4 a.m. curfew than the Bovine. Many a devious night have been spent here in TIFFs previous — and by here, I mean the downstairs “grotto” where the magic really happens.
Who to look out for: bad boys and badder YA starlets.
